We stayed at The Farndon in Feb 10 and it was the highlight of our trip! Lovely room, friendly and welcoming service and great food. Thanks to all there for making our stay so memorable.

Had a fantastic stay last week. Beautiful location and the hotel and pub was sumptuously stylish, we wish it was our local! Our 2 year old thoroughly enjoyed himself and we really appreciated that nothing was too much trouble to accomodate him. Cannot recommend The Farndon enough for a truly warm welcome and relaxed homely atmosphere. Will be back soon! x

called in on a busy friday night. Great draft beer, great atmosphere, lots of laughter, met up with some 'old' local footballers who were great to talk to about the area. Great times will be back again thats for sure - Bernie

We first stayed at the Farndon in June 2009 and liked it so much that we decided to go back to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary.

ROOMS - During our first trip we stayed in the Churton for one night and although the room was on the small side, the facilities were more than ample for our one night stay. The bed was very comfortable and with the fluffiest towels I have ever had, and I have stayed in five star accodamation thoughout the world.

On our second visit we stayed in the Alford which was a larger room. The bed was just as comfortable, the bathroom was bigger and had a bath. Because we were staying for more than one night we found this room more suited to our needs.

SERVICE & FOOD - During dinner on our first visit, we found it quite fustrating to wait 20 mins before been given a menu and then a further 40 mins to take our order. However when our food came, it more than made up for the wait. Johnny the chef and his team cook superb food for very reasonable prices.

Breakfast was also a delight, from fruit / yoghurt / cereal and a BIG portion of a cooked breakfast.

LOCATION - On our second vist we explored the North Wales countryside and the Farndon is idealy situated and makes an excellant base.

Peter & John and all the staff are very friendly and give a warm welcome, which made our stay very enjoyable. We would definately return

Just got back from our stay at The Farndon. It's a beautiful place, lovely food and well run by the Father & Son team.

Charming rooms and a great atmosphere in the bar and restaurant area. Loved the decor too.

We'll be back again!
